Google’s Bay View Campus in Mountain View, CA, is a groundbreaking 1.1-million-square-foot workplace spanning three multi-use buildings designed to embody the company’s commitment to sustainable innovation and employee well-being.
Interactive Rug Collaboration
Assisting a fellow project manager and a custom rug fabricator in installing a bespoke rug within an interactive installation at Google BayView, blending innovative design with dynamic functionality.
Adaptive Geometry
Coordinating installation of a split circular rug wrapping around a five-sided interactive centerpiece at Google Bay View’s Pedal Park, with precise cutouts for wiring and bicycles.
Groundwork for Green
Preparing the Pedal Park seating area at Google Bay View by ensuring precise rug placement over a removed floor graphic. The team evaluated alignment and coverage to seamlessly integrate the new grass-green rug, creating a cohesive visual foundation for the circular bench installation.
Fitting the Foundation
Measuring and adapting the custom circular rug to wrap around a structural column within the Pedal Park seating zone. This phase required detailed coordination to maintain the rug’s symmetry and ensure a flawless fit within the architectural constraints of the space.
Finishing Touch
Overseeing wallcovering installers in the massage rooms, ensuring a flawless finish that enhances the space’s serene, inviting atmosphere.
Teatime Terrace Coordination
Overseeing installation logistics at Google Bay View’s Teatime Terrace, where custom striped rugs intersect with painted floor graphics. The process required careful sequencing, maneuvering rugs around taped and painted zones to preserve both artistic intent and precise alignment within the layered design.
Dinosaur District Detailing
Managing placement of a custom-sized striped rug in the Dinosaur District courtyard, coordinating furniture and plant installations to ensure balance, durability, and design cohesion. The result is a vibrant, tactile layer that grounds the outdoor environment while complementing its playful, curated atmosphere.

Overseeing the delivery and staging of sofas for the team space, aligning each piece with the floor plan and design intent. This phase focused on logistics and coordination to maintain workflow efficiency and protect furnishings prior to final placement.
Coordinating the Arrival
Guiding new delivery personnel through the complex layout of Google Bay View, ensuring materials and furnishings reach their designated locations efficiently. This moment captures the coordination and communication required to manage first-time crews navigating one of the campus’s expansive installation zones.

Coordinating placement of rugs, furniture, and plants, and preparing for the arrival of large acorn-shaped seating elements required precise planning to preserve both the organic flow and design intent of the environment.
Tea Leaves Counter Detail

A World Steeped in Design
Capturing the booth seating area within Tea Leaves Café, where built-in shelving overflows with teapots, ceramics, and objects that reflect the artistry of tea-making around the world. The vignette showcases how careful styling and spatial composition create a sense of story, comfort, and cultural connection within the café’s immersive environment.
Functional Display
Custom-designed pegboard storage system created to hold modular chair components within Google Bay View meeting rooms. The design allows tablet arms to be securely stowed when not in use, showcasing an inventive blend of function, flexibility, and visual order within the workspace.
Themed Touches
Curated shelving and decor add character and personality to Google Bay View’s uniquely named meeting rooms. Each vignette was thoughtfully styled to complement its room’s concept, introducing color, whimsy, and a sense of play to the collaborative environment.
Sustainable Comfort
Custom commercial seating upholstered in repurposed wool from previous projects, bringing warmth and texture to the meeting rooms. This approach highlights a commitment to sustainability, transforming leftover materials into durable, functional, and beautifully cohesive design elements.
Guiding the Load
Assisting delivery crews in transporting oversized custom rugs from the loading docks through Google Bay View’s expansive campus to their designated installation sites. This moment captures the logistical coordination and on-the-ground problem-solving required to move large-scale furnishings efficiently and safely within a complex project environment.
Heron Hideout Setup
Installation of tables and chairs in the Heron Hideout lounge adjacent to a micro kitchen at Google Bay View. This phase focused on aligning furniture placement with the space’s natural flow, creating an inviting, functional retreat that encourages connection and ease within the larger workplace environment.
Il Nesso Café Styling
Curating and styling decorative shelving for Il Nesso Café at Google Bay View, a space inspired by old-world Italian charm. Each piece of décor, from ceramics to collected objects, were intentionally placed to evoke warmth, authenticity, and a sense of timeless hospitality within the café’s rich material palette.
Marketplace Wall Installation
Overseeing the installation of a large-scale wall display in the main Marketplace dining area at Google Bay View. The composition features an array of flat woven baskets in varying colors and patterns, thoughtfully arranged to create texture, rhythm, and cultural warmth within the expansive communal space.
