Bespoke Design, Turnkey Installation
In the exclusive Bachelor Gulch neighborhood of Beaver Creek Resort, Jamaica Jones partnered with Reed Design Group to bring a 9,598 sq. ft., three-story luxury residence to life. Her work extended beyond furniture design, overseeing a complete turnkey installation to ensure the home was fully furnished, stocked, and move-in ready.

Pre-Construction Phase
A guest bedroom during the early stages of construction at the Bachelor Gulch residence. Captured before finishes, paint, and carpeting were added, the image shows electrical rough-in and the pony wall awaiting its walnut façade and structural supports for the custom floating nightstands and bed frame designed and fabricated under Jamaica’s direction.

Nightstand in Progress
A custom walnut floating nightstand in fabrication, featuring a precision-gliding drawer and inset glass top. The piece was designed to incorporate future leather upholstery details, blending material richness with functional craftsmanship.

Finished Floating Nightstand
The completed walnut nightstand features a green shagreen leather–upholstered drawer face, a leather panel beneath the glass top, and a bespoke drawer pull. The combination of fine walnut grain, textured faux stingray leather, and tailored detailing reflects Jamaica’s dedication to material harmony and refined craftsmanship.

Room Finishing Stage
The guest bedroom approaching completion at the Bachelor Gulch residence. The wood pony wall façade, paint, and carpet have been installed, with custom floating nightstands mounted in preparation for final bed placement. The space showcases the transition from construction to curated completion under Jamaica’s project management and design oversight.

Custom Bed Rendering
A detailed SketchUp rendering created to communicate design intent for the custom walnut bed fabricated for the Bachelor Gulch residence. The visualization established final dimensions, proportions, and material specifications, including inset leather panels framed in walnut, ensuring alignment between the designer’s concept and fabrication execution.

Bed Approval and Quality Check
The custom walnut and leather bed assembled in the fabricator’s shop for review prior to installation. This quality check allowed Jamaica to confirm craftsmanship, finish consistency, and precise alignment with the design specifications before delivery to the residence for final installation.

Guest Bedroom Rendering
A SketchUp rendering illustrating the design intent for a custom platform bed with wall-mounted fabric cushions, suspended from a rod by leather tabs. Created to coordinate with wall-mounted nightstands, the visualization ensured precise alignment of dimensions, materials, and mounting details prior to production.

Entry Alcove Preparation
On-site evaluation of the entryway alcove prior to fabrication of a custom upholstered bench. The design called for a hair-on-hide leather seat, recessed lighting below, sconces above, and wood paneling behind. Jamaica conducted field measurements and site coordination to ensure the bench would integrate seamlessly with the architectural details and lighting layout.

Entry Bench Installation
Entryway bench installed in its alcove with finished sconces mounted above, awaiting the addition of recessed LED lighting beneath. The custom-built bench will be upholstered in hair-on-hide leather, completing the layered design of wood paneling, lighting, and texture that defines the residence’s welcoming entry composition.

Ski Room Construction
Early construction phase of the ski-in/ski-out mudroom at the Bachelor Gulch residence, captured during framing with insulation in place. This space was designed to include a custom floating leather bench as its centerpiece. Jamaica oversaw measurements, coordination, and design integration to ensure the bench would align perfectly within the finished layout once drywall and finishes were complete.

Sofa Framework Construction
The initial framework of the custom L-shaped sofa designed for the golf simulator lounge at the Bachelor Gulch residence. Built from kiln-dried alder hardwood with double-doweled joinery, the frame was fabricated to precise dimensions to fit within the sunken living area beneath a future built-in bar.

Design Coordination Rendering
A SketchUp rendering created by Jamaica to confirm design intent, dimensions, and construction details for the golf simulator sofa. The visualization guided both the upholstery and millwork teams, ensuring seamless integration between the lower lounge seating and the overhead bar structure.

Upholstery Detailing in Progress
Detail of the custom golf simulator sofa during upholstery, showing the tight-back and seat deck construction with a loose back cushion prior to fabric covering. The channeled insert, designed for feather-and-down fill, demonstrates the level of craftsmanship and comfort engineering that preceded final wood finishing and installation.

Spring and Suspension Detailing
Progress photo showing the custom sofa after the spring suspension system and cushioning were installed but before final upholstery and wood finishing. The mohair fabric and tailored seat construction reflect the collaboration between upholstery artisans and millworkers to achieve structural integrity and comfort.

Installation Phase: Golf Simulator Lounge
The custom mohair sofa installed within the recessed golf simulator space prior to completion of the upper bar structure. Partial wood finishing is visible on the arms and back rail, alongside in-progress electrical and countertop work. The image captures the coordination required between trades to align furnishings with built-in architectural elements.

Headboard Framing and Construction
In-progress fabrication of the custom four-section, eight-channeled headboard upholstered in nubuck leather. The photo highlights the structural framework and alignment of the box sections prior to final upholstery, emphasizing precision craftsmanship and material quality.

Pre-Installation Inspection
Completed headboard and bed base reviewed in the fabricator’s shop before on-site installation. The inspection ensured accuracy in detailing, fit, and finish prior to delivery to the Bachelor Gulch residence, maintaining quality control across all phases of design execution.

Guest Bedroom Preparation
The upstairs guest bedroom prior to bed installation, featuring built-in wood paneling, floating nightstands, and shelving above. The wall composition provides both architectural structure and visual depth, designed to integrate seamlessly with the custom upholstered headboard and bed frame to follow.

Seating Alcove Preparation
Guest bedroom seating alcove adjacent to the fireplace during the pre-finish stage, with wood paneling, electrical components, and framing in place. The space was measured for custom channeled leather wall panels and a tailored seat cushion, designed to integrate with lighting, temperature controls, and the fireplace surround.

Leather Panel Inspection
Shop inspection of the custom channeled leather panels fabricated for the guest bedroom seating alcove. Each panel was reviewed for craftsmanship, alignment, and material quality before installation, ensuring a precise fit and refined finish within the completed millwork.
